There was never a sense of obligation when I played the game. That game is Sunset Overdrive (by Insomniac games, same developers as Spiderman PS4). I wasn't even having fun, just rushing to get to the next storytelling checkpoint.īut there was one game where I played from start to finish due to sheer fun-factor alone. Certain games, I'd drudge through the boring gameplay just to get through the next cinematic cutscene. And the ones I have bothered to finish was due to a sense of obligation rather than enthusiasm. A lot of those games, I've played but never finished. There were a lot of amazing games that came out last generation.
